Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 12, 2026
Beaquaro ("we", "us") is currently built and operated by an individual developer, not a registered company. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what your options are. If anything here is unclear, email support@beaquaro.com and ask directly.
What we collect
- Account information — your name and email, handled by our authentication provider, Clerk, when you sign up or sign in.
- Profile information you give us — anything you add to build your profile: resume/CV content, work history, education, skills, career goals, target roles, and location or relocation preferences. This exists to power matching — it's not sold or used for anything else.
- Usage data — searches you run, jobs/listings you save or apply to, itineraries you generate, and community posts or comments you write. Community posts are visible to other signed-in users; nothing else on this list is.
- Billing information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we only receive your subscription status and plan tier from Stripe.
- Contact messages — if you use the contact form, we store your name, email, and message so we can reply.
How we use it
Primarily to run the product: matching you against jobs and listings, generating CV exports and AI assistant responses, remembering your saved searches and applications, and processing billing. Matching, resume tailoring, and the AI assistant run on Cloudflare Workers AI using your profile data as input — that processing happens to serve your own requests, not to build a profile for advertising.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. It's shared only with the services that make Beaquaro work:
- Clerk — authentication and account management.
- Stripe — billing and subscription management.
- Cloudflare — hosting, our database, caching, and AI inference. All app data lives on Cloudflare's infrastructure.
- Search providers — when you search, the relevant query (e.g. a job title, a city, a date range) is sent to the provider we use for that category (currently including Adzuna, artha.link, UniPlaces, SerpApi, FlightNerve, and OpenStreetMap's Nominatim for location lookups) to fetch results. We send search terms, not your full profile.
How long we keep it
Your account and profile data is kept for as long as your account is active. Cached third-party listings (jobs, accommodation) that are older than 30 days and that you haven't applied to, saved, or booked are automatically deleted in a daily cleanup — we don't keep stale listings around indefinitely. If you delete your account or ask us to, we remove your profile and associated data; some records may be retained briefly where we're legally required to (for example, billing records).
Cookies
We use cookies for authentication (via Clerk) and to remember your cookie-consent choice. We don't currently use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Your choices
You can export your CV/profile data at any time from your Profile page. There's no self-serve "delete my account" button yet — email support@beaquaro.com from your account's email address and we'll delete your account and associated data.
Children
Beaquaro isn't directed at children and isn't intended for use by anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Beaquaro after a change means you accept the updated policy.
